Ubuntu - I Am Because We Are. It was the theme of World Social Work Day in 2021, and we thought we would take some time to unpack what it means and where it comes from.

Join Mim and Lis as we hear from two social workers who hail from Zimbabwe, who share their own perspectives of Ubuntu and how the concept developed across the continent of Africa - as well as a gripping story from the field.

Hearing from a diverse range of perspectives across the global Social Work community is so important to us, and Ubuntu captures the essence of that value. Have a listen and let us know what you think!
